8 Weeks And Counting
It is hard to believe that in 8 weeks we will be saying Happy New Year and embracing 2017. In January I am sure you created a list of items you wanted to accomplish and somewhere on that list was getting organized. Following are 8 tasks you can do in 8 weeks to help you achieve the goal of organizing your home. These are tasks that if completed on January 1, 2017 you can look back on 2016 as the year you got organized.
Week 1-Purge the pantry of expired food items. Donate dishes and appliances you will never use again.
Week 2-Toss the half used lotions, shampoos, and other items in the bathroom you will never use again.
Week 3-Toss decorations that are broken and donate items you will never use again.
Week 4-Organize and inventory items like gift wrap, paper goods and batteries so you don’t have to buy items you already have in stock.
Week 5-Organize coat closet and donate or toss items no longer needed to create space for the outwear garments you use.
Week 6-Delete photos from tablets and cell phones to ensure you have enough storage for holiday memories.
Week 7-Create a system for receipts, warranties and manuals to existing and new appliances, electronics, etc.
Week 8– Toss and recycle holiday catalogs and magazine you no longer need.
