There Is Still Time To Get Organized, 8 Weeks And Counting
Once again in 8 weeks we will be saying Happy New Year and embracing 2019. Like you I can’t believe the year has gone by so fast. Are you ready to start a new year more organized and with less stuff? If you are, following are strategies that will help you tackle those piles, eliminate stuff you don’t use and get organized on or before January 1st. Here are 8 tasks you can do in 8 weeks to help you get organized:
Week 1-Recycle holiday catalogs and magazine dated 2017 and before you no longer need.
Week 2-Purge the pantry of expired food items.
Week 3– Donate dishes and appliances you will never use again.
Week 4-Toss decorations that are broken and lights that will never become untangled.
Week 5-Organize and inventory items like gift wrap, paper goods and batteries so you don’t have to buy items you already have in stock.
Week 6-Organize coat closet and donate or toss items no longer needed to create space for the outwear garments you use.
Week 7-Delete photos from tablets and cell phones to ensure you have enough storage for holiday memories.
Week 8-Create a paperless system using a scanner for receipts, warranties and manuals to existing and new appliances, electronics, etc.
