An organized life is more about lifestyle than making sure items are neat in containers in your home.  In this month’s blog I share how you can create an organized life and the benefit will be you feel more in control over your life and less stressed.

Organize your health information-If you don’t already know I believe it is important to organize your medical and health information.  It makes it easier to keep track of test results, vaccinations, medications and so much more. If you have not watched the YouTube videos where I discuss the importance of us keeping our health and medical information organized here is a link. Also check out My Body Passport, the product that I have been using for over 5 years that keeps me organized.

Get Your Affairs in Order.  Did you know that 55% of the people die without a will and, 60% of those say they don’t have time to get one.  Make the time. An Estate Plan is not just about having a will, what if you decided to travel aboard for several weeks, who would you want to be in charge of your home should the pipes burst?  If you don’t have an Estate Plan, make the call today.

Secure Your Important Documents: I have my documents uploaded to an online vault to allow my executors access to my important documents no matter where they are located. I also have the documents secured in a water-proof and fire-proof binder. Check out 2nd Vault secure online storage and the binder today.

Keep Your Financial House Organized: I have a monthly financial date with myself to review all of my finances.  I check to see what I currently have, what I am expected to receive from client receivables and what I have saved for the future (retirement). I also created a yearly spreadsheet so I am not longer surprised or unprepared for the quarterly, semi-annual or yearly expenses.

Make time for you:  Occasionally I have what I call are Do Nothing Days.  These are days when I do absolutely nothing except take a hot bath, wear something comfortable and watch a movie or read a book.  With all the things we do at work and in life we need to plan those days and not just wait until we have a vacation to relax.

After reading this blog are you thinking of getting your life in order?  If you need help schedule a 15 minute session so we can talk.  If you would like to join a community of women who are on their personal journey to organize their life click the following link to my Living Life Totally Organized Facebook Group.
